We have a program developed in house for the structural calculation of rigging using the finite element method "FEA". This allows us to know in detail all the efforts, stretches and deflections of each element that compose the rig. In this way we can optimize rigging, mast and other components. We can also know the deflection so that the sail maker can cut the sails with complete precision.

 

The main benefit is to have the precise information to develop or optimize a rig, without fail, having the certainty that it will be the most efficient, saving time and investment. And it allows to exhaust all the possible scenarios optimizing to the bottom the result.
